A Community to Cultivate expression
A Wellness Collective That Enhances Creative Expression
Litani is a creative collective that’s centred around applying wellness to a creative practice. We facilitate creative workshops and courses on a range of creative embodiment practices, such as embodied dance workshops, mindful movement exercises and somatic reiki sessions, as well as engaging talks on mental health, and equip our members with tools to overcome performance anxiety, tap into their inner creativity, and foster holistic wellbeing. But Litani is more than just a collection of workshops – it’s a collaborative hub where ideas flow freely and connections are forged.

what is litani
Behind The Name
Influenced by Marie’s Lebanese heritage and drawing from the Nahr-Litani river of Lebanon, our inspiration is deeply rooted in the region’s rich culture. Named after the river’s serpent deity, our approach is infused with the fluid movements found in Southwest Asian and North African dances.
Our Story
Litani was founded by Charlie Nicholls, an integrative psychotherapist, reiki practitioner and entrepreneur and Marie Malham, a producer, actor, and embodied dance instructor. We came together after discovering the impact that mindful movement and embodiment practices had on our own creativity, mental health and ability to achieve success in our respective high-pressure creative and corporate worlds.
